Julie has been instructing glass as well as multimedia practices at the Indefinite Arts Centre since 2008 and currently serves as Director of Programs. Before working at the Centre, Julie has a long history employed in the field of disability services where she has provided both residential and day support, and an even longer history working as a creative artist.
Well known in the art world for her handmade stamps and paper-works, Julie’s artwork has appeared in various publications, and she is most notably acclaimed for being the first Canadian to appear on the cover of the “Rubber Stamper” magazine. Since then, Julie has received professional training in drawing and painting media through the City’s Parks and Recreation Department, and is further recognized as an accomplished glass artist in the Calgary area. She brings this unique and specialized knowledge to the Centre, contributing to the diversity and vibrancy of our organization.
